Y'know the fanservice would actually be nice, if it didn't have all the needless bulls*** censoring.

Just saying. And TBH, not sure I plan to wait for the BD. Even if the BD IS better by the time it DOES eventually drop, we'd have already seen objectively better fanservice.

When it comes to the difference of eliminating and keeping certain censoring I bet the censoring of that Ikon ayakashi is gonna stay completely while certain Shirogane will leave and staying put... specifically seeing boob shots + butt, and will stay to cover the lower area.

I can definitely see that for the BD version.

I mean, I can understand having to censor, but to THIS degree, honestly, why bother making an anime at that point? It's like toning down the fanservice considerably in the anime when compared to the manga/LN, as we've seen in a lot of recent ecchi anime. Or if you're gonna make ANOTHER standard borderline hentai ecchi anime, do us all a favor and just make a hentai.

I dunno...this series just feels like an unfunny amalgamation of Ranma 1/2 and Nisekoi for the most part. People ahead of me in the manga have confirmed as much also.

And in the case of the anime itself...when you take the best fanservice out of it, it just feels like we're left with yet another mediocre story trying to be vaguely pro-trans or something but falling over itself so badly to where you wonder why Yabuki-san even decided to create it at all. Didn't he learn anything from To Love-RU?

I feel bad for the studio and all the Covid-19 BS, but with all the delays, censoring and the general "mehness" of the plot overall, I wish everyone involved had just chosen to get behind a more interesting show at this point. Put it out of its misery after the 1st season and move on lol.
